Welcome to Charleston First Church of the Nazarene
A Ministry to the Kanawha Valley
A Church For All Generations.”

Ground Zero:  “They were continually devoting themselves to
the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of the bread and to
prayer.” Acts 2:42

The core of the New Testament Church is found in this passage.

  1. Teaching-The Apostles teaching represents the entire Bible.
  2. Fellowship-Teaching without devotion to the local Body of Christ would be incomplete. We share life with one another. Intimate harmony with other Christians is the Christian norm.
  3. Breaking of bread- This represents the Lord’s Supper in particular and Worship in general.
  4. Prayer-This includes adoration, confession, interceding for others, petitioning God to provide, and offering thanks.
